If you made it to this page, then chances are you’re wondering about Dunrite Leatherworks. First and foremost, I’d like to introduce myself. My name is Guillermo Cuevas, the one-man show behind this brand. I am first generation Mexican American, raised in South Gate, Ca. I graduated from UC Santa Cruz in 2015 and even attended and passed Lineman College at LA Trade Tech. During a transitional period in my journey, I began creating and selling leather goods, with the hope of making some money while I found direction for my future. Soon after, I fell deep within this craft, and with the help of a few very special people, I quit my day job and set up shop in Space City Vintage in September 2019. My obsession with vintage fashions, music, pop culture, and Americana, as well as my Mexican heritage, fueled the craving to create timeless, and durable pieces. What started as a hobby in 2012, has become a full-time gig. I do mean full-time, even when I’m not at the shop, Dunrite is on my mind 24/7. I hand make each piece with care, so you’re guaranteed your custom piece is DUNRITE!
